My heart's yearning. . .

Everyday my heart yearns for my Beloved Lord (Swt), and to be honest with you, I don't think that it will ever stop yearning, until The Day I return to Him. . . So until then, I shall fill the emptiness in my heart with the remembrance of my Lord (Swt) - for nothing else is quite sufficient.
I have come to realise,
that I am a lover of life.
But what I love most about it is death,
And the belief of finding a better life
after this one.

There’s nothing harm in versifying lines or expressing our thoughts, emotions through poetry. But, any writings that speak our drifting thoughts or excessive imagery, then these dull our mind and heart.

Being a believer, one has to remember ‘death’, but not to love or yearn death.

Should I be wrong, then may Allah (SWT) forgive me. Aa’meen!

To my understanding there is a difference between one desiring death, and having love for it. For a sincere believer may love death simply for what comes after it. A believer's hope to meet the pleasure of their lord and attain the true peace jannah contains, brings one to this state. However belief requires patience and tawaqul, where lies the importance of refraining from desiring the wall which disconnects us from the akhirah.

Wallahu 'Alim..

At times this feeling tends to occur, when one reads/hears about jannah and it's description. Sometimes we can't help but to feel this way not only because behind it lies our ultimate goal, but also due the ending of the fitnah of this world.

Jazak Allah khair, a sincere and reflective quote

I presume, a sincere believer, will not love death, but he/she loves the Hereafter life...and in loving the Hereafter life, he/she is less scared of torments of death/death or in other words, at the death-hour, a believer feels that by death, he/she get transferred to transitional junction for reaching the eternal abode.
