The heart's natural disposition

“Yearning for Allah and His meeting is like the gentle breeze blowing upon the heart, extinguishing the blaze of the Dunya. Whosoever caused his heart to settle with his Lord shall be in a state, calm and tranquility, and whosoever sent it amongst the people shall be disturbed and excessively perturbed.”
- Ibn al Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah -

Simple and yet true.

...once I read a tradition, but I dont know the exact words...

it's like this:

"Allah (SWT) dislikes, at the time of death, the pain felt by a believer, but in order to reward the believer, there's no other way except to traverse through death"

When you did mentioned of "breeze", I remember, once I heard, that in the heavens there's a sort of breeze, which when blows, adds more radiance upon the faces of Paradise-dwellers.

Yea...what's the worth of this 'Dunya', the temporal place...not even the semblance of a fly's wing...
