Just because . . . (a poem)

Just because I choose not to discuss my tests with others, doesn’t mean my tests do not exist…
Just because it appears as though I have ease, doesn’t mean that pain fails to persist…
Just because I try to enquire about others, and take it upon myself to be one with whom they can confide…
By Allah, it doesn’t mean that the smile plastered upon my face, prevents me from crying deep inside…

Not to disclose your ordeals means your perseverance…and that strengthens your mettle...

Though, at times, by looks and attitude, we remain calm, but our inner pains gets unnoticed by others…so the real mirth, from Allah (SWT) is when our inwards are at ease and our faces radiant, with joys.

What a great and dignified act!!! For me represents an act of faith and trust in our Creator (I believe that you cry and rest your head only to Allah, your best Friend). May Allah grant us Muslim such noble act.
